A 5th generation native of Watauga County, Pam will love showing you why you’ll love these beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and the wonderful mountain people. Pam’s ancestors were educators and visionaries who were involved in bringing better education, transportation, medical care, and the arts to the mountain people. They were instrumental in the early founding of what is now Appalachian State University in Boone. Other contributions are the founding of The Southern Appalachian Historical Association, the creation of “The Horn in the West” outdoor drama, the Daniel Boone Native Botanical Gardens, building the Blue Ridge Parkway in western North Carolina, and the founding of what is now Watauga Medical Center.
Pam’s professional career began in mortgage lending with the Federal Land Bank, then later she worked in advertising and marketing in radio, followed with a successful property management career. Pam sold real estate in the High Country long before she meant to! Old college friends and professors would come to visit, and she would take them to see her favorite places. Her visitors fell in love with the area. Pam has had a successful career in residential, commercial, and large-tract land sales since 2000.
